Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
The final of the 2019 Shropshire Senior Inter League takes place tonight with our two teams proudly taking part at the Bowring at 7 p.m.. The Blue team, led by Rob Burroughs, have more experience than the younger White team, captained by Jamie King. Both teams have enjoyed relatively comfortable progress so far, but know a much tougher test tonight. Our Blue side have all but one county player in their ranks, and hope that their green knowledge learned from practising the green for the Senior County pays off. However, the White side have five ex Bowring players in their side, so green knowledge won’t be a problem for them at all. We have our Premier League Merit winner on one side, Liam Stevens, and our 25 Years Anniversary winner on the other in Keith Wall. We also boast five other Merit winners from our league, as well as two more runner-ups.
It promises to be a great night of action, with our finest players battling each other for the Shropshire Senior Inter League crown. There will be food on after the game.
