Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Throughout these bowling months I will look back on most days in the 26 seasons of the Salop Leisure Shropshire Premier Bowling League.
For the 1st April, we started on this day back in 2016, the earliest we ever started a season. It was quite a remarkable night, despite only 5 games being played. League newcomers Hanwood started their first season back in the league with no winners at Ifton, losing by 118. Hadley USC started their season with a shock win at Wem USC, but it went downhill from then on. St Georges won 10-4 at Chester Road in a fine away win, while Sir John Bayley started their title winning season with an 11-3 win over the Bylet. Burway defeated Wrockwardine Wood 10-4.
