On this day in 2011 we had a few close games in the league with even a draw! Sir John Bayley had 7 winners and drew at Meole Brace, while there were two games decided by 6 or less chalks too! Castlefields won 8-6 and by just 4 chalks against Wrockwardine Wood, while Childs Ercall defeated Chester Road by 6 and 9-5. Bowring won 8-6 at Ford and by 16 chalks, while there was another 8-6 at Wem USC, where the home team beat St Georges by 16 chalks. The two big home wins were Archibald Worthington 11-3 against Ifton and Newport 12-2 at home to the Bylet, with both teams ending up finishing at the extreme ends of the table.
