On this Day in 2013 saw Sir John Bayley score an impressive 11-3 win over Hadley USC by just 16 chalks. The Bayley took two games 20 and another two 19, with one of those 20 losers being former double League Merit winner James Grimston on his first appearance in the league for 9 years since moving up north, and it was his only appearance for Hadley USC. Bylet scored one of their biggest home wins with a 13-1 success over Ifton, whilst Newport showed their domination in the league with a 13-1 win over rivals St Georges. Meole Brace got past Wem USC 10-4, with Wrockwardine Wood beating Archibald Worthington by the same score. The other two games ended up 9-5, Bowring against Burway and Chester Road versus Castlefields.
