The champions Chester Road travelled to early leaders St Georges 16 points behind after St Georges had amassed an incredible 67 points from their first 6 games. But the Champions struck a decisive blow after winning there 9-5, and went onto win their third straight league championship. Wem USC beat Childs Ercall 13-1 and by 99 chalks, while Ford also had a big 12-2 win over Ifton. Castlefields beat Sir John Bayley 10-4, and Meole Brace defeated Wrockwardine Wood 8-6. Newport won away for the first time in the league, doing so 8-6 at Donnington Wood in a game of five single figure cards.
