An entry of only 4 pairs took part in the Mike Hinton Doubles trophy today at Reman. The final saw the Newport pairing of Peter Farmer and Mick Jones beat League Competition Secretary John Coxill and Bowring’s Peter Griffiths saw them recover from 14-7 down to win 21-18 and take the trophy for the first time.
