Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
There is a sponsored walk taking place in honour of our former competitions secretary and league founder Pete Roden. Pete sadly passed away last year. It is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support in Telford. We as a league have donated £100 to this worthy cause, please donate if you could.

The Roden & Morgan family & friends are completing a sponsored walk from Telford to Shrewsbury Town Football Club on Saturday April 30th.
We are planing to leave from my house in Dothill at 6am & we would love as many of you to join us on the journey (so we dont get lost!).
All money we raise will go towards Macmillian Cancer Support in Telford. They were fantastic when caring for Peter & were also a great support for the family during a very tough time.
On Peter’s previous just giving page we raised £2,673.67 which was amazing. Thanks to everyone again who kindly donated, we are hoping to raise as much as possible again!
We have very kindly received sponsorship money from The Mid-Shropshire Bowling League, The Shropshire Premier League, Shropshire Crown Green Bowling Association and Furrows. Peter has worked for all of the above in various roles and was a founder of the Shropshire Premier League.
Peter was a lifelong Shrewsbury Town supporter and the club have very kindly donated 4 x match day tickets to the last home game of the season on Saturday April 30th. All the money raised from the raffle will get added to the tally on this just giving page. Our plan is to complete the walk & hand over the raffle prize on the match day to the lucky winner!
