Qualifiers:
Pete Grimston trailed Andy Armstrong 10-4 and 13-6 but got back to lead 14-13. Andy then went 19-15 up before Pete ran out.
Gary Neal was always in control against Dave Nicholls, leading 11-1 and winning 4.
Darren Plenderleith had an early 7-0 and 11-5 deficit against James Grimston. But Darren then went 13-11 up and kept an advantage till win 17.
Callum Wraight was always ahead of Kirk Stevens, leading 10-3 and 14-6 before running out from 14-9 up.
2nd Round:
Pete Grimston went from 10-9 down against Chris Worthington to lead 19-12 and then win 16.
Andy Armstrong was 10-5 ahead as well as 14-9 before Leighton Roberts went 16-14 and 19-17 up. However Andy then ran out.
Gary Neal was only 9-8 up versus Craig Skidmore before having a run of 8 which helped him win 9.
Dave Nicholls staged an incredible comeback from 16-5 down to lead 20-16 versus Michael McDonnell. Michael got back to 20 across before Dave then won.
James Grimston had an even start before going 16-9 up on James Davison, and kept this advantage to win 14.
Darren Plenderleith went 7-2 up on Dave Lloyd, and despite Dave getting back to 7 across, he couldn’t get ahead as Darren won 15.
Kirk Stevens was 10-5 up over Paul Williams, but Paul got back to lead 14-10. It was then nip and tuck as Kirk got back to 18 across and then ran out.
Callum Wraight was in control against Phil Perry to win 14.
