Qualifiers:
James Wilcox trailed 9-6 early on against Jon Palmer before Jon then led 13-12. After James went 16-13 up Jon got back to lead 17-16, but James then ran out.
Jamie Bramley from 5-4 down went 11-5 up on Nathan Lacey, and after going 17-8 up maintained this advantage to win 12.
Cliff Massey took an early 13-5 lead over Adie Rowe and despite Rowey getting back to 13-10 down, Cliff was able to win 13.
Dave Worthington took an early 7-1 lead and then 15-4 in the corners over Simon Lane and won 7.
2nd Round:
Jon Palmer went 7-1 up on Akeel Duncan and then 13-4 before winning 9.
James Wilcox was 7-3 up on Gordon Hawkins then 9-7 down but went 17-12 up and finished off the game 14.
Jamie Bramley had an early 13-2 lead but Pete Beard got back to 15 across. Jamie kept his composure to then win 16.
Nathan Lacey was 10-5 down against Chris Ward but then went 13-5 and 19-11 up. Chris got back to 16 before Nathan finished off the game 16.
Adie Rowe was always trailing to be 18-10 down, but produced an 11 break in the corners to run out on Sam Patterson.
Simon Lane took an early 14-3 lead on Tony Wall, and despite Tony getting back to 18-12 down, Simon won 12.
Dave Worthington was always just ahead until from 10-9 he went 16-9 up. Chris got back to 19-16 down before Dave won 16.
Round 1:
Akeel Duncan went 12-3 up in a battle of the under 18s with Jake Bramley and managed to hold that advantage to win 8.
Jon Palmer went 19-3 up on Tom Skelding and despite Tom getting back to 19-11 down Jon won 11.
James Wilcox was 12-3 up on Simon Coupe before a barrage of 6 consecutive 2s saw Simon got 16-12 up. However James managed to run out from 19-17.
Gordon Hawkins raced 12-0 up on a round peg against Greg Smith before Greg got over the middle and led 16-12. Gordon got back and led 20-18 but Greg got to 20 across and led an 18 inch bowl which Gord beat and won 20.
Chris Ward was 8-1 up on Owen Jackson and extended this to 15-6 and 19-8. Owen got back to 19-13 down but Chris got the two he needed next end.
Jamie Bramley and Gareth Herbert had a very close game with neither getting a lead of more than 3 over each other. At 18 across Jamie went 20-18 up before Gareth scored one. Jamie then got out next end.
Pete Beard was 8-4 up over Derek Wright but then went 10-8 down. It was then close till 15 across before Pete went 19-15 up and won 18.
Nathan Lacey was 7-1 up before Keith Wall got back to 12-11 down. However Nathan went 19-13 up and held his nerve after Keith got back to 17.
Cliff Massey had a slow start leading 6-4 on Colin Yates before going 12-5 up and winning 7.
Sam Patterson found himself 14-10 down against Danny Sillitoe but then virtually ran out to win 15.
Adie Rowe was 12-8 and 16-13 down versus Nick Wyer before going 20-16 up and winning 19.
Tony Wall was 14-8 down against Craig Dugdale before running out.
Simon Lane had an early 11-2 lead and maintained this throughout to win 9 against Steve Hammann.
Chris Elsbury was 13-11 down against Joe Langford but then ran out.
David Worthington was only 7-6 ahead of Dane Hopwood but then went 18-6 up and despite a mini comeback from Dane he won 13.
