Qualifiers:
Paul Evans was 5-2 down against Elliot McGuinness but then went 14-10 up. Elliot got back to 14-13 down before Paul went 18-13 up and won 15.
Scott Simpson went 8-6 down to Dave East but then 14-8 up. Dave got back to 14-12 however Scott ran out.
Danny Statham raced 14-4 up on Martin Codd but Martin got back ton 15-13 down. Danny however kicked on again and won 14.
Andy Hughes was 11-5 up on James Eaton and then 17-11. James did battle back to 20-18 down but Andy got the one he needed.
Round 2:
Paul Evans and Jesse James had a very close game until Paul went 18-13 up. Jesse got back into the game and at 20 across had the block but Paul won the last end.
Elliot McGuinness had an early 10-5 lead but Kevin Boon got back to 11-10 down. Elliot then had a break of 5 to go 16-10 up and won the game 12.
Dave East raced 11-2 up on Dickie Jones and maintained this advantage to win 10.
Scott Simpson took an early 7-1 lead over Jess Lacey but Jess got back to just 9-8 down. Scott then went 17-9 up but Jess got back again to trail 17-15. Scott scored two singles but Jess then went 20-19 up on a 30m mark. She didn’t quite put the block in the right place and Scott got the two he needed after playing a jack toucher first bowl.
Martin Codd was having a close game with Berwyn Williams but from 10-9 up went 20-9 up. Berwyn got to 15 but Martin got out.
Danny Statham was 15-10 up on Dave Bond but Dave then led 18-15. Danny then led 20-18 before Dave got one but Danny just got in next end.
James Eaton had a close start with Stuart Gittings before Stuart went 18-13 up. James then got back to 18 across and managed to win 20.
Andy Hughes was 6-0 up on Joe Killen but Joe got back to 7 across. Andy got another lead of 13-7 and Joe couldn’t get back despite getting back to 19-16 down as Andy scored the two he needed.
Round 1:
Jesse James went 11-3 up on Tim Benton before Tim got back to 11-9 down. Jesse then went 18-12 up and kept this lead to win 16.
Paul Evans was 12-5 up on Aaron Tapper but Aaron hit back to lead 20-14. Paul however then ran out.
Elliot McGuinness was 8-5 down to Ollie Jones but then went 13-8 up. Ollie got back to 13 across and it was close thereafter, until Elliot won 20.
Kevin Boon was 15-11 up on Chris Edwards before Chris led 17-15. However Kevin won 18.
Dickie Jones was down at the start against Gary Beff and then was 19-12 down. But Dickie ran out.
Dave East was 10-5 up on Scott Moseley but Scott then went 18-10 up. Dave then got himself back into the game and won 20.
Scott Simpson had an even start with Chris Barton but then went 16-9 up and 19-11. Chris got back to 19-18 but Scott got the two he needed.
Danny Statham was 11-8 down on Cheryl Caswell but found a mark over the middle to lead 18-11. Cheryl tried to come back but could only get to 18.
Dave Bond had a close game with Mike Davies before from 13 across he scored four separate 2s to win 17.
Martin Codd raced 10-0 up before Andy Gregory got back to 10-7 down. Martin went ahead 18-9 up and kept his nerve to win 17.
Berwyn Williams had a close game with Owen Evans before going from 11-9 down to lead 14-11. Owen got back to lead 18-17 but Berwyn ran out.
James Eaton went 6-0 down against Andy Duckett but then went 14-10 up. Andy got back to 16-14 down but Andy won 17.
Andy Hughes found himself down 11-3 versus Russell Pugh, but with the help of 2s, edged his way back in and only led at 20-19 up before getting out next end.
Joe Killen from 5-3 down always led as he extended his lead to 17-8, and won 15 against Ian Formstone.
