Comments: Castlefields had a season of two halves. They were keeping behind Wrockwardine Wood in the first half, only losing two games and winning 15-1 at Chester Road and 14-0 at home to Meole Brace. But Wrockwardine Wood visited and beat them on the very last game, and they struggled from that point onwards. They only scored double figures three times after that, two against Highley, and lost at home to Chester Road. But they did win a record 9th Alan Mayhew Trophy win in a great final against the Bayley.
