SPBL Merit Qualifiers Preview

The final 3 qualifiers for the SPBL Merit will be decided tomorrow night from 6.30 p.m. at Bylet and Wem USC. Former winners Tony Rhodes, Phil Jones and Tom Roden take part at the Bylet, along with former runner-up Jamie King. Josh Hale plays in this for the first time, while St Georges duo Pete Grimston and Joe Killen are there along with the Meole Brace trio of Will Childs, Dave Redge and Mark Thomas. Hayden Lewis has had a solid start to his Castlefields career in this league, with Chris Worthington also there and the Highley pair of Stu Gittings and Dave Scriven. At Wem USC and the Castlefields trio of Mike Beer, Adie Rowe and Gary Neal play with the Hanwood trio of Dan Wiliams, Dave Turner and Simon Lane. The other two players Craig Jones and Dave Bamford take part from North Shropshire.
