Bayley win league by a point!

Well done to Sir John Bayley on winning the league by a single point from Castlefields tonight. They only got 5 winners at Wem USC, but Castlefields could only beat Burway 12-2, meaning the closest ever finish at the top the league has seen.

It capped of a treble winning season for the Bayley after winning our Alan Mayhew Trophy and the County Cup. They will, along with Castlefields, go to the World Club Championships in October looking to add that trophy. The Pool A&B will take place at the start of next season.

Well done to the Bayley’s Alex Jones for winning the League Averages and Most Consecutive Wins award for this season.
