Comments: It was always going to be difficult for Wrockwardine to match their record breaking 2022 season, but they still achieved their second best ever finish in 3rd and second highest points total. They had a good start, but then lost 3 out of 4 games. Another 4 game winning streak followed by a loss at Adderley meant that momentum was lost again, and a loss to rivals St Georges at home meant that retaining the title was out of their reach. They only lost three further games after that, including a crazy game at Burway, but still finished 3rd with enough points that would have won the league last season!
