Qualifiers:
Tom Killen from 4-3 down went 9-4 up but Stu Gittings got back to 9-8 down. Three 2s meant he went 15-8 up and won 11.
Martin Simcock went 10-3 up on Danny Statham before Danny got back to 14-13 down. However Martin then ran out.
Keith Wall found himself 10-4 and 14-5 down on Martin Gaut but got in the corners at 18-9 down and only conceded one more chalk.
Andy Hughes had a close start with Spencer Clarke before going 14-6 up and kept this advantage to win 12.
Round 1:
Danny Statham went 9-1 up on Jamie King and then 15-3 before winning 7.
Martin Simcock from 11-10 up went 19-11 down on Gerald Merry before running out.
Stu Gittings flew 11-1 up before Josh Cotton recovered to 11-9 behind. But Stu then got the block back to win 11.
Tom Killen was only 10 across with Paul Bradley before virtually running out to win 11.
Martin Gaut was 10-5 down on Wayne Phillips before getting back to 10 across. He then went 16-10 behind before getting back level again. From 18-16 down he ran out.
Keith Wall from 9-8 behind on Robin Clarke went 16-9 up and kept this lead to win 13.
Andy Hughes raced 5-0 up but then went 6-5 down against Clay Flattley. From 10-9 up Andy only concede two more to win 11.
Spencer Clarke was only 7-4 up on Craig Jones but played well to lead 13-7 and win 9.
