Sir John Bayley retained the Pool A Final after beating Castlefields by 6 in the final. They led by one after the first four with Chris Worthington winning 15 from 14-13 up and Stuart Rutter winning 14 from 13-11 down. Glen Herbert won 14 for the Fields from 10-9 up while Callum Wraight won 16 from 16 across. Jon Palmer then won 8 for the Fields but Dan Taylor replied with an 8 card of his own. Adie Rowe won his game 19 from 14-9 down to put the Fields ahead briefly, but Tom Roden won 14 to give Bayley an unprecedented quadruple from last season of League, Alan Mayhew Trophy, County Cup and now the Pool A.
The Semi Finals saw two contrasting games with Sir John Bayley beating Ifton by 15 with Castlefields edged home by 1. The Bayley had the first 5 winners with Scott Harries and Owen Evans both winning 9, with Joey Williams winning 18 for Ifton. Hanmer flew out the blocks with a 11 win for Robin Bennett and 12 for Iuean Pugh, but Hayden Lewis replied for the Fields 11. Glen Herbert added a 13 win but Alan Faulkner replied with a 13 win for Hanmer to leave them 7 up and Callum Wraight 20-12 up on Dave Ellison. Dave fired but hit his short bowl onto the block for one, however Callum got out next end to win by the narrowest margin.
