Jordan Baddeley from Atherstone Cons won the 2024 Dennis Lewis Open after beating the 2023 winner Pete Farmer in the final 21-11. It was close until 11-9 when Jordan found a 20m straight mark and pulled away from Pete to win 11. In the Semi Finals Jordan had recovered from 10-4 down against Paul Reeves to win 16 on a round peg. Pete was 8-4 down against Darren Plenderleith but had a 16 break to win the highest break prize and won 11.
Quarter Finals:
Paul Reeves went 8-1 up on Sam Millward but Sam got back to 9-6 behind. Paul then had an 11 break and won 8.
Jordan Baddeley went 9-3 up on Shaun Swinton and always then led with both bowlers only putting two ends together which meant Jordan won 17.
Darren Plenderleith was 6-5 down on Jon Ball but went 12-6 ahead. He extended this lead to win 9.
Pete Farmer went 10-6 but Callum Wraight went 13-11 ahead. Pete hit back to go 17-13 up and then ran out from 17-16 up.
Last 16:
Paul Reeves from 12-9 down found a straight mark to go 17-12 up on Josh Bradburn and win 14.
Sam Millward was 8-3 and 15-9 on Kiah Roberts and won 15.
Shaun Swinton raced 7-0 up on Craig Wilson but despite Craig getting back to 15-14 down he won 16.
Jordan Baddeley was 12-4 ahead of Ash Wellings and kept this advantage to win 13.
Darren Plenderleith was 14-6 ahead of Jamie King and won 13.
Jordan Ball was 10-3 up on Darren Sanford and kept this lead to win 11.
Pete Farmer was 10-5 up on Steve Burroughs and extended this to win 12.
Callum Wraight went 17-4 up on Joe Killen and won 10.
