Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
The 2024 Dennis Lewis Open takes place later today from 10 at the Sir John Bayley. Last year’s Champion Pete Farmer is aiming to defend the title he won last season, but former winner Callum Wraight will be looking to reclaim his title, especially as all 38 entries will be taking place on the bottom green only. There are nine players from North Midlands including Steve Pratt and Darren Plenderleith, while four travel down from Cheshire led by former Bayley bowler Steve Burroughs, with another Bayley boy Paul Reeves taking part. Jamie King looks to add this to his Bylet Open crown he won earlier this season, while former winner Kiah Roberts also travels up. Josh Bradburn has already won the Shropshire Senior Merit and will look to add this to his trophy cabinet, while Joe Killen is in good form too.
