An encouraging entry of 20 pairs took part in the Mike Hinton Doubles trophy today at Bowring. The final saw the Castlefields pairing of Callum Wraight and Luke Jones beat the St Georges pairing of Ian and Peter Gaut 21-17 to take the trophy for the first time.
