Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Woodman Mount Pleasant got through the 4th and final qualifier of the Newport 4 Person Team to make finals night tonight.
They beat the Stile by 13, Grant Cooper being their best winner 3, in the qualifier after defeating Thimblemill by 19 in their first game, Dan Davies best winner 7. The Stile had to come through a playoff to get through against Horsehay after Jamie Taylor and Craig Baugh won 9 respectively. Those two players went back on and Jamie won 11-1.
The finals take place tonight with Wrockwardine Wood having two teams and Castlefields and Woodman the other two teams. The draw will be done when the teams get there. The action starts at 7 with practice from 6.30. The bar is open and it promises to be a great night of bowling.
