Coors Meole Open 2nd Sunday Qualifying Review

Afternoon Session:

Qualifiers:

Dan Petcher was 9-5 up on Mel Jenkins but Mel got back and tied it at 18 across. Dan then ran out.

Sam Millward was 11-3 up and won 7 against Kevin Nicholas.

Anthony Gray was 14-12 down to Lee Woodfield and then 17-14 adrift but came back to win 18.

Darren Plenderleith from 9-7 down to Steve Lewis and went 15-9 up. Steve went 18-16 up but Darren managed to win 20.

Round 2:

Mel Jenkins was 14-10 down but went ahead at 18-17 and won 19.

Dan Petcher went 19-12 and 20-13 up on Clay Flattley and held off a comeback to win 19.

Sam Millward raced 15-0 up and won 7 on Barry Swindall.

Kevin Nicholas was 7-3 down to Calvin Gratrix but went 14-7 up and won 15.

Anthony Gray was 6-1 down to Mike Davies but went 15-10 up and won 17.

Lee Woodfield was 10-3 up on Wayne Phillips and kept this lead to win 15.

Steve Lewis was 15-0 up on Gary Peel and won 3.

Darren Plenderleith was 15-6 ahead of Nathan Lacey and won 13.

Round 1:

Mel Jenkins was 13-10 down on Simon Lane but from 17-16 down ran out.

Clay Flattley was 14-0 up on Keith Pessall and won 5.

Dan Petcher was 16-10 ahead of Colin Bastable but then ran out.

Sam Millward was 8-4 up on Geraint Booth and despite Geraint got back to 16 across he ran out.

Barry Swindall had an early 10-4 lead on John Newey and despite John getting back to 14-11 he ran out.

Calvin Gratrix from 6-0 down to Andy Gregory went 12-6 up and then 15-14 down. But he won 18.

Kevin Nicholas was only 13-11 up on Steve Lediard after going 6-0 ahead but then won 12.

Mike Davies was 14-5 up on Jesse James and won 13.

Anthony Gray raced 14-2 up on Jon Martin and won 14.

Wayne Phillips had a very close game with Gwerydd Buckland and went 20-17 up to win 20.

Lee Woodfield was 17-13 down to Darren Sanford and won 18.

Steve Lewis was 10-9 down on Aaron King and ran out.

Nathan Lacey was 15-5 in front of James Eaton and held off a fightback to win 10.

Darren Plenderleith was 16-6 up on Les Smith and won 11.

Morning Session:

Qualifiers:

Andy Hughes raced 11-0 up on Darrell Handley and won 5.

Jimmy Hynes was 14 across with Phil Lyttle and won 14.

Darren Fitzpatrick was 18-3 up on John Breeze and won 6.

Will Tarrell was 15-8 and 18-11 down to Alex Hassall but ran out.

Round 2:

Andy Hughes was 8-2 up on Bill Kinchin but then 14-11 down. He was 17-15 behind but then ran out.

Darrell Handley was 14-6 down to Peter Jones but from 19-18 down he ran out.

Phil Lyttle was 6-0 up on Alan Purcell but then 7-6 down. He went 12-7 up and kept this advantage to win 14.

Jimmy Hynes was 14-6 up on Jackie Rutter and won 10.

John Breeze was 14-11 down to Matt Gilmore but then went 18-14 down. Matt went 20-18 up but John ran out.

Darren Fitzpatrick was 9-6 down to Josh Towey but then got back to 15 across and then ran out.

Alex Hassall was 7-5 down to Tim Benton but then went 15-9 ahead and won 11.

Round 1:

Peter Jones went 12-3 up on Jack Purcell and won 12.

Darrell Handley was only 13-10 up on Kieran Walker but ran out.

Andy Hughes was 15-5 up on Chris Slater and won 13.

Bill Kinchin was 14-6 ahead of Cliff Massey and won 15.

Phil Lyttle went 12-1 up on Andy Morgan and won 6.

Alan Purcell was 11-3 ahead of Ian Pugh and held off a late comeback to win 17.

Jimmy Hynes was 18-3 up on Danny Wornell and won 8.

Jackie Rutter was 12-10 down to Tecwyn Williams but went 19-12 up and won 15.

Matt Gilmore was 11-2 up on Alex Jones and won 7.

John Breeze was 19-14 up on Wayne Rogers and held off a fightback to 19 across to win 19.

Darren Fitzpatrick was 12-7 up on Ian Formstone and won 11.

Josh Towey was only ever a few ahead of Gareth Ingram from 9-8 up and won 18.

Will Tarrell went 13-1 up on Paul Williams and won 12.

Ash Wellings was 9-4 down to Carl Lewis but went 15-9 ahead and won 12.

Tim Benton went 16-7 up on Chris Edwards and won 13.

Alex Hassall was 13-4 ahead of Owen Cookson and won 14.
