Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
The 2025 Dennis Lewis Open takes place tomorrow from 10 with some big names in the field. Former winners Kiah Roberts and Pete Farmer would love to win it again, while Darren Plenderleith and former homester Steve Burroughs travel over to play once again with a group. Jamie King will look to add this to the Newport and Bylet Opens he’s won recently, while Tom Killen will look to add this to his North Shropshire Parks Merit win last week. Elliot McGuinness won the Wrockwardine Wood Open in 2023, and former home players Paul Reeves, Clay Flattley, Mark Taylor and Kane Beaman will look to make green knowledge pay. Glynn Storer travels over with Lee Cavill from Staffordshire, and Sam Millward will look to add this to his Dorrington Open success. Rob Roden is a former County Merit winner, and Ash Wellings a Junior Merit winner, while Martin Gaut is looking for his first big Shropshire Open success, as well as the rest of the field.
There may be a burger van there and the bar is open at 10.
