Sam Millward won his first big open competition in Shropshire after winning the 2025 Dennis Lewis Open. He defeated former home bowler Steve Burroughs 13 in the final, going 17-6 up from 7-6 ahead and not letting Steve back into the game.
In the Semi Finals Sam went 11-3 up on Jamie King and won 9, while Steve Burroughs beat former winner Pete Farmer 18 after going 9-3 up and holding of a fightback after Pete got back to 18 across.

Jamie King from 8-6 down went 17-8 up on Alan Boulton and won 13.
Sam Millward was 5-4 down to Elliot McGuinness but went 16-6 up and won 8.
Pete Farmer was 15-2 up on Clay Flattley and won 12.

Clay Flattley was 12-4 up on Rhys Marshall but Rhys came back to lead 18-16. Clay though won 19.
Ronan Allen was 3-0 down to Shaun Swinton but went 7-3 up and won 12.
Steve Burroughs from 10-6 down went 19-10 up and won 13.
Martin Gaut was 9-7 down to Harr Chapman but went 12-9 up. From 17 across he ran out.
Kane Beaman was only 8-7 ahead of Ron Millar but then won 10.
Gary Neal raced 14-1 up on Rob Roden and won 2.
Kiah Roberts was 12-3 up on Nick Wyer and kept this lead to win 13.
