Wednesday Matches Preview

There are three Wednesday matches in the Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowling League. Two games have been brought forward from the 20th June, with Horsehay facing the unenviable task of taking on Champions Castlefields, who will be looking to go top for the first time this season. Horsehay spokesman Steve Reeves says “we welcome Castlefields to the hoss tonight, if we can get anything like last year’s result we will be very happy but understand that we will have to be on top of our game to do that!” Wrockwardine Wood had a massive shock loss to Hanwood last Friday, and will be desperate for a response at home to Burway, who come off three good results in their last three matches. The other tie is from the 16th May, as Highley look for another home win as they host Hanwood, who will be looking for more of the same from Friday’s shock win at Wrockwardine.
