Comments: Wem improved by 12 points and 2 places from 2024 in a very good season for them. It started off with a first ever win at St Georges, but then they followed it up with 7 straight losses, culminating in just 3 winners at Horsehay, meaning they looked like they could be dragged into a relegation scrape. But they won 5 out of their next 7, including an away win at Meole Brace, to move up the table and didn’t look back. Their home form was impressive, winning 8 games in double figures, and only losing 4 at home, 3 of those to the top three. They added another away win at Hanmer 12-4 as they won 4 out of their last 5 to finish in 8th.
2026 Aims: To consolidate again and try and move up to the top half. A couple of signings will help the squad depth and increase competition for spaces.
