Comments: Castlefields improved on their record breaking season and retained the league title with more ease than last season in the end. They had a season of perfection really, losing away at just the rest of the top four, as they clocked up more records which will be explored this month. Those three losses were the only times they didn’t score double figures in a match their scoring was that good. Their only blip was a loss to Ifton in the Alan Mayhew Trophy by 3, but did win the Pool A again, and became the first Shropshiure winners of the Free Press Cup.
2026 Aims: How can you achieve on an incredible season? Keep the squad they’ve got and try and kick on, but their main aim will be the County Cup, it’s been over 10 years since they won it incredibly, but if they can keep perfect they could win all 6 major trophies they take part in their squad is that good.
