Castlefields and Sir John Bayley won two games but didn’t top their group in the BCGBA Club Championships.
Castlefields lost out to Boldmere Sports & Social Club who won all three of their games. They lost by 31 to them despite Mike Beer winning 5. They had beaten Copsewood by 65, Mike Beer again starring winning 6. They ended their day by getting past Nordley by 43, Andy Armstrong best winner this time 7.

Sir John Bayley missed out by 11 chalks after losing their game against Dudley Dell by 28, Reece Farr best winner 12. They had got past Atherstone Cons by 25, Dan Taylor best winner 7, and beat King George V by 32, Dan Taylor and Reece Farr best winners 7, but it was King George who went through.
