Sir John Bayley look to turn the tables on Castlefields as the two meet again for a fifth time in as many years in this competition. The Fields have won the last twice against them, but Bayley captain Reece Farr looks to end that run. “Tomorrow we have our first big clash with Castlefields, we have a full squad out and hope to get an early advantage on them, we know its going to be tough they knocked us out of this last year, so revenge is our aim.” The winners won’t have it much easier as they will take on Wrockwardine Wood, who gain a walkover as Ifton can’t field a team.
The other half sees Sinclair look to cause another shock as they take on Hanwood. Skipper Harry Church says “we are looking forward to challenging ourselves against a good established prem side.” Hanwood though are in good form and will be knowing they will be favourites to make the Semi Finals. They could take on local rivals Meole Brace there, but they will have to overcome an unbeaten Highley side who are another team in good form. Captain Chris Jones says “we play Highley who have started the season very well and we look to build on Friday’s result.”
