Comments:
Hadley USC failed to push on from their successful 2014 season as they finished with a similar points total to their first season back in the league in 2013. After a disappointing home loss to St Georges they produced their best away performance of the season just losing by one at Castlefields, then produced their best home result beating Archibald Worthington 13-1. They got only one at Meole Brace but won 4 out of their next 5 home games, including a fantastic 11-3 win over Castlefields. A three week break of Fridays in the middle of the season didn’t help but they beat Archibald Worthington 9-5 and by 2 to produce their only away win of the season. Despite this win they failed to kick on as they only won 2 out of their last 11, although one game was a thrilling draw against Meole Brace with 5 winners, and their last home game was a great 12-2 win over Burway, but overall, the season wasn’t up to their expectations. But Rob Burroughs did make it a season to remember for him and the club as he won both the Premier League Averages and most MVPs, becoming the second player from the club to win the averages after Alan Jones in the inaugural season.
In the Alan Mayhew they lost first round to St Georges by 2 overall, but had a great run in the Pool B beating Bylet by 31 and Wrockwardine Wood by 10 to reach the final. However they narrowly lost by 3 to Burway.
