Meole Brace dip out at first hurdle

Flowfit Shropshire Premier Bowling League team Meole Brace dipped out in the first round of the BCGBA World Club Championships despite having 5 winners against Kings Heath Park. They had the first three losers, with Castlefields’ new signings Jon Palmer and Steve Freer both winning and Dan Petcher 7 for KHP to lead by 20, which after Doug Edwards’ 18 win was reduced to 17 after four. Meole then had all 4 winners in the back but with Craig Wilson being the best 14 it wasn’t enough and they lost by 6.
