Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
The Senior Inter League is tomorrow and the Flowfit Shropshire Premier League side will be looking to make history as they aim to win the John Bowers Trophy for the first time. Captain Rob Burroughs knows “our league should have their name on the trophy as I believe we are the best league in Shropshire and it’s up to me and the lads to show that tomorrow. We know we can make history and I have complete confidence in them.” Rob has picked his team rather than look for volunteers in previous years and his squad involves 9 of the current county squad and 1 ex homester as well as 6 players under 30, boding well for the future. But they have been drawn in a tough group with previous winners Whitchurch, a Mid Shropshire side made up of mostly Premier League players and a Shropshire Ladies team eager to prove themselves against us!
The action starts at 10 at Wem Small green and hopefully we will qualify for the semi finals at Wem USC later in the day. Any support would be much appreciated!
