The Flowfit Shropshire Premier Bowling League have numerous players gunning for Midland Masters glory at Pennfields B.C. Castlefields pair Callum Wraight and Clay Flattley take on Matthew Hill of Potteries and Warwick and Worcester’s Jack Williams respectively. Burway have a trio in action with Wayne Rogers playing Warwick and Worcester’s Chris Baker, Duncan Pressley playing Lyndon Hazelhurst of Staffordshire and Jolyon Partridge playing former Childs Ercall and St Georges player Chris Halford, who now plays in Warwick and Worcester. Wrockwardine Wood team mates John Clarke and Rob Fuller play Mick Simpson of Potteries and Trevor Nichols of Derbyshire respectively with Bowring’s Rich Lawson taking on Jordon Baddeley from North Midlands. St Georges players Simon Rhodes and Pete Grimston play North Midlands’ George Ward and Hadley USC’s Jamie Wyer respectively, with Jamie’s team mate James Duce playing Potteries star Kerry Morris. Meole Brace’s Colin Beaman plays Derbyshire’s John Finch, with Newport’s Russ Pegram playing Ed Furniss of Derbyshire and Sir John Bayley’s one cap wonder Ben Mellor playing Andy Smith of Derbyshire. Reigning champion Greg Smith, who plays for Hanwood, defending his title starting against Gary Owen of Potteries
