Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Today sees the last 8 teams left in this years Arthur Land Super Cup battle it out to be this year’s champions. Flowfit Shropshire Premier Bowling League sides St Georges and Newport have made it through, and ended up drawing each other! The finals day will be held at Bellingham Bowling Club, the home of Wigan Bowling Green Ltd, New Lodge, Wigan WN1 2ND. There are other players involved, with Hadley USC’s James Duce and Rob Burroughs in the Penn side along with Sir John Bayley’s Tom Roden, Jason Groom and Gary Cooper and Wrockwardine Wood’s Martin Gaut, and they have drawn holders King George V. Dudley Dell feature Hadley USC’s Jamie & Nick Wyer and Steve Homer and play Thongsbridge, while Esclusham, who won the league and cup in Wales, feature several of the Ifton lads, Leighton, Kieran & Carl Roberts, Simon Tyler, Craig Griffiths, Darren Lacey, Rocky Jones and Brian Hayes.
