Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
White Horse enjoyed one season in the Shropshire Premier League in 2006 after beating Rhos BC in a playoff in 2005 to take the place of Cravern Arms who withdrew earlier that season.
Their stay was shortlived as they struggled to adapt to the standard of their Premier League. Their first league win didn’t come until July but it was memorable as it was against current League Champions Chester Road. However this was their high point of the season as they finished rock bottom with a record low of 100 points. They were then beaten in the playoff by Bylet on the bottom green at Sir John Bayley.
Unfortunately White Horse closed down in 2010 and is currently being redeveloped.
