St Georges have been one of the most successful teams in the Shropshire Premier League. They have never finished out of the top six in their entire stay in the league, winning the league 5 times in this time. Their first win came in 1999, with their highest points total, 250, with a record 160 being scored at home, and also winning the Pool A. They won it again in successive years twice, in 2001 and 2002, and 2006 and 2007. Since then they lost a number of key players from those title winning teams and since 2010 have finished outside the top three, although only by 11 chalks in 2011. They did return to the top three in 2016, losing out to Castlefields in 2nd by just one point. But they have still won trophies in that time, having won the Alan Mayhew Trophy (2004, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012) and Pool A (1999, 2002, 2007, 2010, 2014) 5 times, the joint highest with rivals Castlefields.
Individually, they have had 4 winners of the League Averages; Tony Rhodes in 1997, Peter Farmer in 2006, Chris Grocott in 2007 and Glyn Picknell in 2008. They have also had 7 winner of the Most Consecutive Wins award; John Breeze & Glyn Teece in 1997, Alan Jones in 1999, Kevin Keary in 2007, Peter Farmer in 2008, Mick Jones in 2009 and Ian Gaut in 2010. Tony won the Individual Merit in 1996, and Pete Farmer won that three years on the bounce between 2006 and 2008. Chris Grocott and Dave Rhodes won the Mike Hinton Paris in 2006, and Tony Rhodes in 2011 with Dale Rudrum of Newport.
