Team 21: Craven Arms

Craven Arms were inaugural members of the Shropshire Premier League in 1994 and enjoyed their highest ever finish in their first season coming 5th. They were a solid mid-table team in the 90s however in 2003 and 2004 they finished in 10th place and then in 2005 started the season but had to withdraw after a few games due to a lack of players.

They did have success in the end of the season Pool B shield, winning  the first two in 1998 and 1999 as a 12 a side competition and again in  2002 as a 8 a side format.

They did try and win back their place in the 2010 Playoffs after winning the Ludlow League, but after beating Hanmer by 19 they lost against local rivals Burway by 7 despite leading by 30 off the first four.

They have recently been promoted to Division One of the Tanners Shropshire Bowling League for the 2015 Season.
