2017 Aims:
Wem USC had a disappointing season last one as they never recovered from a shock home loss to Hadley USC first game and they will be hoping to improve on this to enable them to move up the league. They have signed three new players, young guns Matt Beeston and Connor Whitehall while Paul Gleave is back in the league after previously turning out for Archibald Worthington. How quick these three settle on a tricky green could determine whether they move up the table or not, but Graham will be hoping the increased competition for places will inspire last year’s team to push on as well. With three out of the first four at home they will be hoping that they will hit the ground running at home. A good run in the Alan Mayhew Trophy isn’t out of the question with their good home green.
