2017 Aims:
Chester Road had an inspired season last year, as they finished 4th and improved by 42 points overall from the previous season. They will be thinking that they can do the same, asthey are still under the captaincy of Paul Fowles and have strengthened to, with Andy Foster and Steve Rogers back in the league after a couple of years out, as well as young talent Chris Stretch, who makes the step up for the first time, and Alex Lockett to. They have lost Carl Hinton though but the extra strength in depth will help them when they are a couple short. They lost their first home game last season but will be looking to start well at home this time round. They did very well away and will look to maintain this as well and stay at the top end of the table. They reached the Semi Finals of the Alan Mayhew Trophy and won the Pool A so will be hoping they can enjoy two more good cup runs.
