Hadley USC v Wem USC Playoff Final Preview

The 2017 Playoff Final takes place tonight between Hadley USC and Wem USC to see who will get the 14th place in the 2018 Salop Leisure Shropshire Premier Bowling League. Hadley have come through two tough pre-playoff games so far against Ludlow Castle and Bridgewater so will be match sharp for the game tonight. They have also named their strongest 12 with Staffordshire County Players Simon Homer and Jamie Wyer leading them off, with county hopeful John Newey also hoping to continue his good form in this year’s playoffs. Hadley will also use last year’s playoff defeat as good experience for this game, which Wem can’t as this is their first ever playoff. But they did win the Shropshire Star Cup Final last weekend, showing they can handle the big games, and came back to some form in the Pool B after a poor end to the season. They also name their strongest 12, with captain Graham Dulson sitting out and having faith in his players to keep their unblemished record of being in the league every season. They also name a strong first four with former County Players Derek Wright and Mike Dulson in it and will be hoping they give them a good start. There is also a clash of the young guns in the middle with Ash Gregory playing George Williams, with Hadley hoping that their back four can bring the game home like it has done this week.

It’s one of the biggest games in the country, so get yourself down to Meole Brace tonight, it’s only £1 entry with a programme, and see a thrilling game with two teams battling it out to gain their place in the league for next season.

For those who can’t make it, there will be live scores here. Hopefully they’ll be a live blog, some videos on snapchat and live action on Facebook.
