INDIVIDUAL MERIT for the John Coxill Trophy
MARTIN LLOYD WINS THE TROPHY FOR THE FIRST TIME……

The Premier League Merit, held at Bylet Bowling Club, on Sunday 15th August, was won for the first time by Martin Lloyd (Chester Road).
In a competitive final enjoyed by a large crowd throughout the competition, he overcame Mick Jones (St Georges) 21-18.
Martin enjoyed an early lead at 8-4 and then Mick rallied to 8-8 and the game was level again at 10 across, 15 across and 18 across before Martin scored one to make it 19-18 and then finish with a pair to win 21-18 and take the £160 first prize.
In the semi finals Martin beat Rocky Jones (Ifton) 21 11 and Mick overcame Dave Rogers (Chester Road) 21 17.
