Highley are now in the driving seat to win the Mid Shropshire League and take their place in the playoff after securing a narrow 1 shot win over Hadley USC. Danny Statham’s 9 win was crucial in sealing the aggregate, as well as Paul Busby winning 11 on a rare appearance for the village side. Adrian Smith’s best win of 13 wasn’t enough to give Hadley another chance of the playoff after making it there last season.
St Georges will need to win 12-3 at Madeley CC to draw level with Highley and win the league on aggregate.
