Comments:
Bylet enjoyed their best ever season with their highest finish and points total. It was based on their home form, they only lost there twice, against Sir John Bayley and Castlefields, in two of their first four home games, winning every one since then. They didn’t start off well with those home losses, but after getting 6 at Bowring they had a good run of form which continued throughout the season, apart from a couple of hammerings at Hanwood and Castlefields. They got their first ever whitewash against Hanmer too to break more records, as well as registering seven straight wins at home. They didn’t make an impact on our cup competitions though, losing out to Wrockwardine Wood in the 1st round of the Alan Mayhew Trophy and the Semi Finals of the Pool B, after winning their first game in it since they won the competition in 2010.
