Comments:
Hanwood improved by 19 points from last season but couldn’t break into the top three as they aimed for at the start of the season. Their home form was great once again, staying unbeaten for the entirety of the season, only not scoring double figure against their Shrewsbury rivals in the first and last games of the season. They did get one away win, at Meole Brace, and a draw at Wrockwardine Wood with 7 winners, but apart from that they didn’t get more than 5 winners away, scoring 3 or less on four occasions. They didn’t defend their Alan Mayhew Trophy as they lost out to Burway in the Quarter Finals, while they lost first round to Wem USC in the Pool A.
