Newport got 7 winners at Meole Brace and drew the aggregate on their way to their first triumph. Chester Road were the biggest winners on the night, winning 12-2 against Sir John Bayley, while St Georges defeating Ford 11-3. Wem USC beat Archibald Worthington 10-4 in a North Shropshire Derby, while Ifton had 7 winners with the aggregate against Childs Ercall.
