26 years ago today, the Shropshire Premier Bowling League had its first ever night of games on Friday 15th April 1994. It was a night of home wins with all 6 home teams all winning, the biggest being Hanwood 12-2 over Donnington Wood. Chester Road scored the highest for an away side as they got 5 winners at Sir John Bayley. The champions Battlefield started their campaign beating Wrockwardine Wood 11-3, who finished the season bottom.
