On this day in 2003 it was the first games of the 2003 season. It was a night of all home wins as Castlefields scored the biggest one with a 12-2 success, while Ifton defeated Battlefield 11-3, who would later that season finish bottom. There were two close games at Craven Arms and St Georges as both home teams only won by 6 and 9 respectively due to a couple of 21-4 wins by the away side. Craven Arms beat Chester Road 9-5 and St Georges got past Donnington Wood 10-4. Wem USC defeated Archibald Worthington 10-4 and Ford beat Meole Brace 9-5.
