One of the biggest away wins in the league’s history happened seven years ago today as Chester Road won 12-2 at neighbours Archibald Worthington. Wrockwardine Wood had an even bigger win at home to Bylet 13-1, while Ifton won 12-2 at home to newly promoted Hadley USC and Another newly promoted side, Burway, got 3 winners at Castlefields. There were two 9-5 home wins with Wem USC and Sir John Bayley defeating Bowring and Newport respectively, but it was another 9-5 win that caused a shock as Meole Brace won at St Georges for the second time in their history.
