On this day last year Hanwood had their biggest away points score when winning 13-3 at rivals Meole Brace. There was a big away win for leaders Sir John Bayley 11-5 at Wrockwardine Wood, while Highley gained a 10-6 away win at rivals Bylet. Castlefields and Newport kept pace with the Bayley with 11-3 home wins over Wem USC and Chester Road respectively. Ifton defeated Hanmer 10-4, and Burway beat St Georges 8-6.
