Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Joe Killen of Newport became the 7th player to win consecutive Junior Merits as he once again defeated his brother Tom Killen in the final, but this time it was much tougher than last season. The Premier League player found himself 12-4 down in the final, but battled back to win 19. Both players now go on to represent Shropshire in the 2022 BCGBA Junior Individual Merit on Saturday 20th August at Heaton Park in Greater Manchester.
Akeel Khan won the Peter Ashton Youth Floodlight Trophy after beating Will Thompson 16 in the final.
