Final:
Andy Hughes was 5-0 down early on as Reece Farr stormed out the blocks but he got in the corners to lead 11-5. Reece couldn’t put two ends together as the score went to 17-10. He did put some together to get back to 17-14 down but Andy got two 2s to get out.
Semi Finals:
Andy Hughes raced 11-2 up on Lee Brown but from 13-6 down over the middle Lee got back to 13-12 down. Lee then went 17-15 as the momentum had shifted but Andy got back to 18-17 up and lay two before Lee rested him out. Andy then drew a foot bowl next end but Lee won the next with a single. He then played two bowls over a yard through which let Andy in for game.
Reece was 9-2 and 13-4 up on Darrell. From 17-5 thought Darrell started to get back on the shorter marks and from 19-9 did get back to 19-16 but Reece got the two he needed.
Quarter Finals:
Lee Brown was in great form as he raced 13-1 up on Nathan Dawes and from 15-4 ahead he ran out.
Andy Hughes was 5-0 up but Ian Howell got back to 5 across. It was then close throughout till Andy led 19-15 in the corners. Ian got back to 20-18 down but Andy got the one he needed.
Reece Farr was 5-0 down on Sam Millward before going 6-5 up. Reece then went 14-6 up and Sam couldn’t erode this advantage was Reece won 16.
Darrel Handley from 8-7 down went 14-10 up before Gary scored two. Darrell then ran out in the corners.
Round 2:
Nathan Dawes had an early 13-6 deficit against Darren Plenderleith but from 16-12 down he ran out.
Lee Brown had an early 14-8 deficit on Clay Flattley but Lee got back to trail 14-13.
Ian Howell was 15-6 down against Jamie Bramley and then 20-13 adrift. But Ian then run out in 2s.
Andy Hughes went 8-1 up on Geraint Booth and then was 16-4 up. From 20-10 down Geraint got back ton 16 but Andy then finished it off.
Reece Farr went 10-5 up on Rich Goddard but Rich got back to trail 16-15. However Reece then ran out.
Sam Millward was 7-2 up on Tom Vickers and then went 17-7 up before winning 12.
Darrell Handley had an even game with Pete Grimston throughout, with the most someone was ahead being Pete at 10-6. Darrell managed to win 18.
Gary Neal was 8-3 down to Ash Wellings but got back to be 18-17 down. From 19-17 down Gary ran out.
Round 1:
Nathan Dawes went 6-3 up but Scott Simpson levelled at 8 across. It was nip and tuck then before Nathan went 20-17 up and won 19.
Darren Plenderleith was 8-3 up on Ryan Prosser and maintained this lead to go 19-10 up and win 12.
Clay Flattley went 9-5 up on Carl Fielding and then 17-10. He held onto this advantage to win 15.
Lee Brown had an early 6-2 deficit against Dave Worthington but then went 9-6 up. He then went up a gear as he extended his lead to 14-7 and then 18-8 and won 9.
Jamie Bramley kept extending his lead from an even start to go 16-10 up and then win 13 versus Dave Jackson.
Ian Howell raced 7-0 up on Dan Jones but then Dan got back to trail 14-13. Ian then got the block again to go 19-13 up and despite Dan getting back to 18 he got out.
Andy Hughes went 9-0 up on Callum Wraight and extended this lead to 16-4 and went on to win 9.
Geraint Booth was 8-0 up against Dan Williams and Dan wasn’t able to close the gap as Geraint won 13.
Rich Goddard and Mike Beer had an even game till Rich got three 2s from 14-13 down and then won 16.
Reece Farr went 5-0 up and then 13-6 against Matt Beeston. Matt got back to lead 16-14 but Reece then ran out.
Sam Millward went 10-0 up in 2s over Dan Bodley before being pegged back to 14-9. But Sam kicked on again to win 10.
Tom Vickers was 7-3 down early on and despite being a few behind he managed to run out from 20-17 down.
Pete Grimston was 11-7 down versus Cliff Massey and then 16-13 adrift. But he then only conceded two more to win 18.
Darrell Handley and Danny Statham were close until Darrell ran out from 12 across.
Gary Neal was always ahead versus Kiah Roberts as five 2s at the end helped him win 9.
Ash Wellings was 5-0 down early on against Paul Evans but from 8 across he went 20-9 up and won 11.
